windows movie maker error

I can split files and do all those things on my movie maker. But when i drag a clip onto my storyboard, i get an error message and my movie maker freezes up. Has this happened to anybody else? What do i do?

might be a memory thing, i find mine only started to work properly when i upped the ram to 1.5 gig
