I am suddenly unable to play video clips. I get the message " The application or DLL C:\windows\system32\quartz.dll is not a valid Windows image". Can any one tell me how to fix this? I have downloaded both Mighty Max and PC Rescue, but with no effect (although they promise that their programs will fix it!). I am on Windows XP which I discovered is apparently not an authentic copy - although it has worked fine, with service pack 2 installed. Looking forwards to your words of wisdom!

It's extremely doubtful that anybody will advise while your using an illegal version Windows.
I suggest you contact Microsoft with the details of the business you bought your computer from and they may sort you out. If you can't do that then your stuck with buying a legal version of Windows.
Webuser does not condone the use of illegal software.
