Add New Button on Right - Firefox 3xx
      #402428 - Wed Aug 06 2008 09:20 PM

This extension is useful if you don't want to use TabMixPlus. It will give you a 'New Tab' button to the right of the last tab on your tab bar and works in a similar way to the 'new tab' button on IE7. The extension is called 'New Tab Button on Tab Right' and you can get it here.
It's compatible with Firefox 3xx, but not with TMP.

The extension above is different from either of those shown in your 'cough' link. I had already read that thread before starting this thread. What it comes down to is that you choose what you prefer to use.
The default for the extension I've linked to here is for the 'New Tab' button to be to the right side of the last tab opened, although you can choose to have it at either the left or right end of the tab bar.
I hope your cough gets better soon.

Thanks Madeline. Just what I wanted. My (rather clumsy) workaround has been to open a new tab I don't really need, and then overwrite it with the page I actually want. This 'new tab' system is much neater.

At first though, because I have a silver coloured theme, until I hovered over it I didn't realise it had appeared.

cheers Graham

Hi Mouse. I wasn't being 'sarky' on purpose.

Which bit do you mean?

cheers Graham

I'm not sure Mouse's comment was aimed at you Graham.
