Pre-Paid Credit Card
      #389721 - Fri Mar 28 2008 12:01 PM

You will probably think me really slow but I've just finished reading Issue 178 and noticed in the hints and tips about pre paid credit cards. There is another one that I have been with for years and it also has its own cashback website, Its called SPASHPLASTIC. www.splashplastic.com

Thanks for the tip Sharon.

Look out for a comparison of pre-paid payment options in an upcoming issue of Web User. They're very useful for people who want to buy online without providing their bank details, as well as web users who don't have or want their own 'real' credit cards.

Splash Plastic was the first company to introduce prepay cards, however these were only advertised directly to the younger generation. Splash Plastic is owned by Paypoint, which now offers some quality services, a range of cards and more.

I had been using Splash Plastic, but I never used them much as thier charges were too high. I now use Virgin's Pay As You Go Mastercard (virginmoney.com). Charges are very low with no monthly fees!

I have seen over 40 different companies offering thier own prepay cards, but Virgin's Pay As You Go Mastercard is the best. Cashback, Free to reload and it's a Mastercard! (accepeted worldwide).
