Help For Schools this XMAS
      #238683 - Wed Nov 16 2005 10:56 AM

Hi. If anyone would like to earn commission for their school while they shop online at over 200 stores then visit www.helpyourschool.co.uk. It's a free not-for-profit website and it's just been featured in the News section of web user if anyone wants to read about it.

Feedback on the site would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Neil

Call me an old cynic but, the site appears to be North East centric (a random search shows no other areas covered).

Other than;

Which, again, only seems to benefit those listed, i.e. schools in the North East!

How do other schools/areas get listed and, moreover, benefit from this scheme?

Also, I think if you offer a link to your free promotion pack (PDF) there should be a promotion pack available, as opposed to;

'AARRRRRGGGGGG!!!!

We’re really sorry but the promotion pack isn’t as complete as we’d like it to be – so you’ll have to try again in a few days.

In the meantime you might try telling everyone you know about the site (maybe email them!!!), or if you’re a school – tell parents and teachers about the site in your newsletter.

Once again we apologise for the missing link and promise to get it sorted!!

Thanks for your help

The team @ HelpYourSchool'

Probably better (IMHO) not to have the link until the pack is available.

We're currently adding all schools around the UK but it is a time consuming exercise. Schools in other parts of the country are listed (St Helens / Somerset LEA for example), but only a few currently. If anyone wants to add a school now then they can simply email the details to info@helpyourschool.co.uk - I'll probably add this to the information.

With regards to the promotion pack you're probably right - although it is nearly finished.

Thanks for the comments

Neil

Thanks for the clarification.

BTW:
Great idea for an affiliate scheme, Lord knows our schools need all the (financial) help they can get these days.
