This is my personal web site which I've put together over the last couple of weeks.
It's been in the pipe line for quite some time now, and having a bit of free time (pre Christmas holiday), thought I'd get it up and kicking.

It's probably of no interest to most people, but a pictorial site showing some of the contracts, past and present, I'm involved with.

I'd appreciate any feed back on mainly the layout, navigation and download times please, bearing in mind it is a first effort!

It has evolved from Dreamweaver 4, and more recently Dreamweaver MX, which I've used with no tuition, other than their own help guides, and of course help from these forums and various other web sites.

It isn't finished as yet, photo albums will always be updated as and when, and the meta tags for search engine purposes haven't been added yet.

Let me know what you think before it goes 100% public.

Paradox Images

Many thanks.

That's a pretty neat design you've got there Oracle. The one problem I have, though, is the quality of the thumbnails. I may be picky, but they could be a better resolution ;).

Very interesting and good photos of construction that the general public woudn't normally see. I have no problem with the thumbnails. They are plenty good enough to view but they may be because I am using a 19inch CRT set at 1024x768. One thing I did miss was the ability to go back to either the Home page or the thumbnail page of the photos I was viewing. I had to use the browser Back button to go all the way back to the home page and then start again.

Do you know that we're all in line for succession to the throne? Really?
Well, if forty-eight million, two hundred thousand, seven hundred and one people died I'd be Queen.

Thanks for the response guys.
I think the thumbnail resolution problem was mainly with the "Montage" thumbs?
I have made them slightly bigger, and a better resolution. Hope that helps - you guys tell who have the lower screen resolutions on their monitors.

I'm working on the code to have a "Previous" page or "Home" page facility at the bottom of an "expanded" gallery, but in the mean time you can click the arrow pointing up, and it will take you back to the index page of the particular gallery you are viewing, then at the bottom of that page, the option to return to the main gallery, or the top of the page if that option is included for that page.

Thanks again, and thanks for the other "lookers" who haven't left bad or very negative posts.

I'll see what I can do in the New Year, I'm packing the bags for Tenerife at the moment!

All have a Wonderful Christmas, and a Happy New Year.

All the best.
