Hi I downloaded and installed a copy of Prevx1 version 2 on the high recommendation of Webuser, which gave it a glowing review. However, upon restarting my machine I realised what a terrible mistake I had made. I was unable to boot my system, nor was I able to even get to Safe Mode! In the end I had to re-install Windows which was a major pain. Luckily I had all of my music and photos backed up, but I am still working my way through trying to get my system in the state it was before... prior to installing this awfull piece of software. I am sure some will sing its praises, and if you want to take the risk go ahead. But don't say I didn't warn you folks! Just a thought, has anyone else had any prob's?

Sometimes software conflicts with the programs already on your machine. There's no way of knowing until the computer falls over and refuses to work again. That doesn't make the software awful, it's just sods law. I'm sure for every dissatisfied PrevX customer there's a thousand happy campers ready to sing it's praises. For the record, PrevX has worked perfectly on my machine in the past without issue.

Hi garyhere,
That was bad luck indeed, when you completed the install what exactly happened?
Have you contacted the Prevx support to let them know of your experience? There must be some logical explanation for this.
PS. Did you uninstall an old version?
Joe.
