Hi all,, Has any one had any problems with a "Plalltte media" asking for a subscription payment of £29.99p for which you no nothing about? The only thing I can think of is I accepted a offer from the BBC News to receive ticker tape style news bullitings,and it seems to be connected to the day I accepted this offer.Help pleas!!! I'm sorry to say that this is a payment demand from Platte Media for alleged access to a porn site. The software used for this was originally developed by MBS which has been taken over by Platte Media. You might like to look through the Platte Media FAQ's here which explain how you came to get a bill and what to do about it. I should add that Platte are adamant that their software cannot be installed by accident and that anyone receiving a payment demand must have agreed to the Terms & Conditions of the web site.

hi greysts.. many thanks for your reply , I must say it comes as a shock as I hav'nt agreed to any porno stites ,I've had problems with porno pop ups, and dodgy emails... I will do as you advise , once again many thanks for yor help.. Kind Regards Geoff.
