Hi, is there any Return To Castle Wolfenstien players out there that know how to set a server up on the Demo version (or retail) for free. Using nothing but notepad(in the cfg).
And is there any limit on the internet connection that you need.

If you own the retail version of the game, multiplayer is for free, so I am lost as to what you want to do using notepad, can you emphasise please?

I want to create a server that everyone can see. So you have to put it on the internet. On notepad you create a config (cfg) to change settings on the game. Normaly you have to pay for the server to be put online. But i used to know a few people that done it by putting stuff in the cfg. Therefore they got it on the internet for free.
I want to know if anyone knows what the settings are that you have to put in cfg to put the server online.
Understand better? If you don't just say. I've just summed it up real quick there.

Looking at this site, there is no charge for hosting a server, or am I missing something?
If you do have to pay for it, then creating a hack so that you can bypass that isn't legal and against the terms & conditions of the game then I'm afraid that you won't get that help here.

After reading your reply, i looked up my friend, and i must say after some-time i found him. It is perfectly legal and i know no how to do it!
