Hey, i have a little problem with my desktop icons. They have a little blue border around them and it stands out on the background. And it does my head in!!! Does anyone know how to get rid of it and how you cause it???
Right click on your Desktop. Click on Arrange Icons By and make sure Lock Web Items on Desktop is disabled. When it is enabled, you will get the blue border.
Thanks, for your relpy. Although this didn't work i have uploaded an image of my desktop to <<HERE>>. i have circled ones in red that really stand out although all of them have the same problem.
Try this then .... Go to Control Panel | System | Advanced tab. Under Performance heading click settings. Check Use drop shadows for icon labels on Desktop and then hit apply.
