Hi all. can anyone tell me why i am getting the following messages all the time.
X internet explorer cannot open the internet site
http://webuser.co.uk/forums/ubbthreads.php/cat/o.

operation aborted

ok.

this has only been happening over the last month or so and its driving me mad because i can't get out of it unless i click on the OK then it shuts down the webuser site and i have to bring the webuser site back up , but i'm still logged in anyway. any ideas please........

There have been other similar questions about this, you're by no means the only one experiencing this problem! It's all due to the ongoing upgrade of this and other IPC Media sites. This thread explains it all. It's not browser-specific, but I find that I have less trouble using Firefox or Opera rather than Internet Explorer or other IE-based browsers. I don't know why this should be the case, but it is! You could also try Refreshing/Reloading the page or pressing the F5 key, that often works.

Tricia, After reading the thread Madeline suggested, while the updates are being done, all I can suggest is to do as I do....
When the page loads up, after about 3 seconds, press the "Stop" icon (The red X)
It stops the dreded error thing appearing.
