yahoo toolbar problems

ok this might get confusing i'll try to keep it simple.

A while back i installed the yahoo toolbar but then i got the windows live toolbar as it had better features so decided to uninstall the yahoo toolbar thing is its still on my screen above the windows live toolbar if i click the option to turn it off both it and the windows live toolbar disapear

any idea how i can sort this

...method to uninstall the yahoo toolbar.
