I've just changed my ISP from Freeserve to Tesco and for some reason I've started getting download errors. The downloads are free and I've used the sites previously with Freeserve without any problems. The error I'm getting is "Access forbidden or authentication method not supported" Details HTTP/1.0403 Forbidden. I've tried adjusting the Cookie settings but still with no success.
Do you get this error with everything you try to download or is it just large files? Either way, I'd suggest contacting your ISP as they may have some kind of restriction on how many Mb's you can download at any one time.

In my experience it does seem there's problems associated with anything real. It tries to take over when it doesn't really have the flexibilty to do so.
I've got Real Player 8 installed and won't upgrade, having heard the latest version's even worse, but I won't let it do anything. Sometimes I have to use it for music downloads, but then I convert them to MP3 and play them on Windows Media Player which, despite my recent moans about it, is still (imho) a better programme than Real Player.
