hi-ya'll wonder if someone has the answer to this?
running xp pro and wifi also netgear wireless on booting up i get the following pop-up (windows wishes to know which prog with which to open the following
path) NETGEAR WG 111T SMART WIZARD.INK.DISABLED. then another pop-up asking which program windows users to open the above,from here i am totally stumped
any ideas would be grateful for.regards whizzer.

Methinks you have been tinkering.

The Netgear WG111 wireless adapter can use the Netgear software or Windows software. I suspect you have installed the Netgear software and want to use it. If so do this:

Go to Administration Tools > Services > Wireless Zero Configuration then if Stop is there, click it and then change Startup to Disabled.

Hi burrwalnut just an update on my NETGEAR/WINDOWS prob just to let you know that i have now sorted the prob by going down the MSCONFIG route and now the little blighter is no more!!! regards whizzer.
