Hi,
I am using Win98Se on my desktop to run a wireless network consisting of a D-Link PCI card, D-Link 604 wireless router and a D-Link media centre. However, today I have tried in vain to set up Xbox live with a D-Link 810 Ethernet Bridge. I even tried D-Links (so called) helpline and was cut off 4 times = total time in a queue 2 hours. I digress. I shall attempt to contact them again in the morning, fingers crossed.
I am trying to configure the Ethernet bridge using IE6.0 but it doesn't recognise the IP URL. The IP URL for my 604 wireless router works fine. Without getting the web browser up and running to set it up, I'm kinda' stuck.
Where do I manually configure the IP addresses? Do I need to enter a DNS on the X-box?
Should the Ethernet Bridge appear in the D-Link AirPlus Extreme G+ under site survey? The WLAN LED is lit so it is obviously picking up something.
I would love to read the manual but it's as much use as a chocolate teapot etc.
cheers
