Bumping a post will simply make you wait even longer as our helpers start from the bottom and work up. You only posted the log today so don't expect any help for at least 24 hours and perhaps longer. Your log will be dealt with in due course.

Do you know that we're all in line for succession to the throne? Really?
Well, if forty-eight million, two hundred thousand, seven hundred and one people died I'd be Queen.

Hello rctneil
Sorry to keep you waiting..
Please read this post completely, it may make it easier for you if you copy and paste this post to a new text document or print it for reference later.
Step 1
Please Update your Sun Java console.
Older versions have vulnerabilities that malware can and are using to infect systems.
Please follow these steps to remove older version Java components.
- Close any programmes you may have running, ESPECIALLY your web browser
- Click Start > Control Panel.
- Click Add/Remove Programs.
- Check any item with Java Runtime Environment (JRE) in the name.
- Click the Remove or Change/Remove button.
- Repeat as many times as necessary to remove all versions of Java.
- Reboot your computer once all Java components are removed.
Reboot your machine and then download and install the latest version J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 7 from here: http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/download.jsp
Release notes here: http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/ReleaseNotes.html
Step 2
Please download, install, and update: Ewido anti-malware
When installing, under "Additional Options" uncheck "Install background guard" & "Install scan via context menu". When you run ewido for the first time, you may get a warning Database could not be found!. This is normal so just click OK. To launch ewido double-click the icon that should now be on your desktop. From the main ewido screen, click on update in the left menu, then click the Start update button. After the update finishes the status bar at the bottom will display Update successful.
If you are having problems with the updater, you can use this link to manually update ewido. ewido manual updates.
Do not use this yet!
Please re-open HiJackThis and scan. Check the boxes next to all the entries listed below.
O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {0B53EAC3-8D69-4b9e-9B19-A37C9A5676A7} - (no file) O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {42CDD1BF-3FFB-4238-8AD1-7859DF00B1D6} - (no file) O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {EF99BD32-C1FB-11D2-892F-0090271D4F88} - (no file) O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [IMprocess] E:\Program Files\IM Names\IM-svr.EXE O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [2Search] C:\Program Files\2search\main.exe O9 - Extra button: Run IMVU - {d9288080-1baa-4bc4-9cf8-a92d743db949} - C:\Documents and Settings\Mark\Start Menu\Programs\IMVU\Run IMVU.lnk (file missing) O16 - DPF: {FF0C042C-98E9-4C36-B2EC-E21FDFDCEF75} - http://download.redswoosh.net/Installer/rssoft.cab O20 - Winlogon Notify: iexplorer - iexplorer.dll (file missing)
Now close all windows other than HiJackThis, then click Fix Checked.
Close down HiJackThis,
Click on Start > Run. and copy and paste the following text:
regsvr32 /u "C:\Program Files\2Search\plugin.dll"
then click OK.
Using Windows Explorer (to get there right-click your Start button and go to "Explore"), please delete these folders
C:\Program Files\2search E:\Program Files\IM Names
Restart your computer and continually tapping F8 until a menu appears. Highlight Safe Mode and hit Enter
Now please open Ewido Anti-Malware. Click on Scanner. Click on Complete System Scan and the scan will begin. Warning: Do NOT open any other windows or your Control Panel while scanning as it may prevent scan completion!! When prompted to clean the first infection, select "Clean" and checkmark the box beside "Perform action on all infections" in the left corner. Upon scan completion, click the Save report button and save the report.txt to your desktop. Then close Ewido.
Reboot back into Normal Mode
Step 3
Please download SmitfraudFix (by S!Ri) Extract the content (a folder named SmitfraudFix) to your Desktop.
Open the SmitfraudFix folder and double-click smitfraudfix.cmd Select option #1 - Search by typing 1 and press "Enter"; a text file will appear, which lists infected files (if present).
Please copy/paste the content of that report into your next reply.
Note : process.exe is detected by some antivirus programs (AntiVir, Dr.Web, Kaspersky) as a "RiskTool"; it is not a virus, but a program used to stop system processes. Antivirus programs cannot distinguish between "good" and "malicious" use of such programs, therefore they may alert the user. http://www.beyondlogic.org/consulting/proc...processutil.htm
Step 4
Please use Internet Explorer and Run the Kaspersky On-line Scanner
Accept the Active X object and download the latest definitions. When the scanner is ready, click Scan Settings. Select the Extended anti-virus database. Select Scan Archives & Scan Mail Bases and then ok. Click My Computer to run a full system scan. When complete, choose Save as Text and save the log to your desktop.
Reboot your System
Please Re-scan with HijackThis and post
1/ The new HijackThis log 2/ The Ewido scan result 3/ The smitfraudfix log report 4/ The kaspersky scan log result's.
Thank you, ourwilly.
