Webuser Forums: Friends Reunited

I read with interest your mention of Friends Reunited and the fact that it is now free (issue 188, page 18).

This is quite a welcome thing for me, as I have been a member for a long time and have always been reluctant to pay the subscription, especially since the site was changed so that anyone you sent a message to would also have to pay the subscription if they wanted to reply back to you. Most likely they wouldn't.

With the introduction of Facebook and being allowed to contact old friends/acquaintances for free on there instead, it's not really a shock that Friends Reunited have lost out and have had to make these changes.

Friends Reunited may not be very happy about it, but unfortunately I think it was inevitable.
