Adware Pro
      #373902 - Wed Nov 28 2007 04:59 PM

Adware Pro (www.adwarepro.org) claims it has been awarded a Web User Gold Award and features our 2006 logo to endorse its product.

Web User has not reviewed this product nor have we granted it permission to use our award logo.

Our legal team is aware of this, but I wanted to let you know that we have not recommended Adware Pro.

You can find all our award winners over the last three years at www.webuser.co.uk/2007awardwinners.

That's really naughty, they're not even a company I've heard of, until now.

Although some of these rogues are still operating and others have now alternative guises this site is seriously out of date. The latest up to date threats can be found here.

Thats a good point OurStanley, I also thought some of their recent removals from the list wasn't justified.

Joe.

Thanks for the link Ray. That's an excellent site and I've bookmarked it.

MadelineI've already mentioned Marcin's blog elsewhere in the forum but it doesn't hurt to have it posted twice. Great stuff here.

Thanks for the link Ray, I don't think I've seen t before, but I may have forgotten! It was both fascinating and scary and has been bookmarked.
