http://www.webuser.co.uk/news/195270.html Does anyone else use Netscape? It wasn't the first browser I used, but I've been using version 9 since the beta 2 release and it's a very good browser. Faster than IE7, much the same as Firefox and with more built-in features than the latter. Firefox is my default browser, but I use Netscape frequently and I intend to go on doing so. Although AOL have withdrawn official support (thanks AOL), there is still plenty of help available from various forums. The current version of Netscape, v9.0.0.6, has the same level of security as the current version 2.0.0.12 of Firefox. I see no reason to dump Netscape as it's still more secure than IE7 and with the addition of NoScript, an extension that a lot of Firefox users will be familiar with, Netscape should remain viable for some time to come. I'm posting this as a response to the above news story as suggested there.
