Not that I'd be ungrateful if I won it, but the WU comp. offers the chance to win a Refurbished Dell Latitude D830 'worth over £1000'. On the dell site, a brand new one (with 1.5g more ram) only costs £589, so I was wondering how this figure has been arrived at. But as I said, I wouldn't mind winning it!!!

Sorry Mouse, I should have mentioned, I saw this in the magazine P39 14-27 February. It doesn't really matter tho, a free pc is a free pc!!!! I just thought it a bit .....strange. I dunno. TY

Aha that explains it then. The only thing I can think of, is that when the magazine went to press the laptop was valued higher?
Actually can I just check that the competition in the mag doesn't state that there is more than one laptop up for grabs?
In fact looking at the Dell site now, it's now £549, so they must keep dropping the prices.
