Creating a signature in Windows Mail
      #408982 - Tue Oct 07 2008 06:55 PM

I have tried creating a html signature, to include an image and some text and have followed instructions from various sites on the internet. Copying and pasting the html text into notepad and then saving it as a html file.

Then I go into options and tell Windows mail where the file is. But when I go to a blank email and try to insert the signature, where the image should be there's just a red cross and the text is sometimes garbled.

Can someone advise me of the correct way to do it. What part of the html text should I be copying and pasting?

Thanks in advance.

This link describes the problem with the red cross.

Create Image Signatures in Windows Mail or Live Mail

Hope it helps.
