Have recently created a websiteand want to know how to get more traffic? have logged on with google and seems slow. What is the easiest way to get my site known?

One way is to ask bigger and much more successful websites who are similar to yours, to have a link to your website on their website.
There are other ways, but some can get you blacklisted with google, thus meaning your website will not appear on google.
You should search on search engines and see how to attract more traffic. Search Engine Optimisation techniques may be slow, and I've known businesses who have invested 100's into trying to get to #1 in google and haven't.
There is no way to get more traffic immediately.
Try searching for 'Search Engine Optimisation tutorials' or 'SEO guide', this might give you some more help getting more traffic.
