I manage a site (www.daygardens.com) that has several sections and several photos in each section, to show customers what they are about.
Rather than simply list the photos one after another I'd like to have some way to draw them out in a more groovy, maybe interactive way. I like how grouper.com provides a video wall or collage for photos that you can interact with but it does not support photos.
Are there any free products out there that can turn a simple list of photos into somethign more interesting? Either web based or requiring install?
I can't find any - appreciate suggestions. Thanks Mike

Although not free, this script is a flash gallery system and in actual fact only costs $5 (£2.50 ish) so it's as good as free.
Might be worth a look http://www.tufat.com/s_flash_image_gallery.htm

I ended up finding a utility at slide.com that seems to do the trick. The good thing is it has simple interface so that once the code is embedded in your site you can monkey around with the individual pics and the way they are treated on slides' site and not need to edit your own site further. Which means the client can play photos without knowing html or web stuff ;-)
