Retrieving Frontpage Data
      #349062 - Tue May 22 2007 02:23 PM

Nightmare, following a mistaken format of my hard drive I have lost all my files, I wish to retrieve all the pages on my website back to my computer from the server because the pages I have backed up are a month or so old and not the current ones on my web site, could someone assist me please on how to complete this task. Many thanks in anticipation

It may depend what version you use but there is an option on the remote website tab that lets you select "remote to local" instead of the default "local to remote" for publishing changed pages.

That should let frontpage download any pages that are different on the server to your pc thus updating your local copy.

Plan B is to manually view each of the relevant pages in your web browser and select the save page option.
