Deleting History etc.
      #355724 - Tue Jul 03 2007 01:40 PM

I always thought that all my files/ history would be auto. deleted as I set them, but on going through Int. Opt. to view files I find there are 1,000's of items still there. Is there any quick way I can rid myself of them? Most of them are either the likes of Ebay logos and other companies info. links etc., but there are huge numbers. (also what is the option of mark-up on make post?)

It's very early in the morning and I've just finished a 12 hour night shift so it may be me , but I'm not sure what you mean

You want ATF Cleaner. .

Is it safe to delete Windows temp, Current users temp and All users temp files without question?

Arandora - I did them all without question and all appears ok.Necessary items appear to be retained anyway ! Poss. Fife Flyer may think differently.

Hello Arandora. I can offer no comment on the subject but I have always wanted to know how you do the animation. I would love to have a go.

Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse it did.

Hi bubbablue,
How do you the animation? Easy, just pinch one from a website!
I've not yet got to making my own animated gifs though people tell me it is easy, so I Google for Avatars and/or Smileys making sure that ones I'm interested in (by Googling their names/sites) aren't ones laden with spam then when I find a site or a specific animated gif, I Save as to my PC and file it away for use in Emails etc. Don't just save the link and use that as most sites don't allow/like hot-linking but do allow you to use their gifs for yourself. To use on a Forum like Web User I upload the gif to my on-line storage (I use Walagata) and then depending on the Forum or site's requirements for accessing it cut and paste either the image location or URL.
This applies to both your Avatar (the image you use under your name) or your Signature that appears at the end of each post you make.
If you look at this link it will tell you how.
Have a go. Any probs post back and I'll try to help.
Cheers
Alan

Bubbablue, if you have any queries to Arandora's advice, could you please start a new thread in Feedback forum, as this doesn't relate to the thread topic.

Thanks and good luck!
