i am unable to connect to bb using the sockets in the house.the phones still work but when i try to connect to bb i am unable to connect.i am using a brand new speed touch modem and filters to the phones.if i connect the modem to the bt test socket i can get a connection to bb.
That suggests to me that the wiring between the BT master socket and the extension sockets needs upgrading. Who installed the extensions and what sort of cabling did he use?

sorted it out thanks.disconnected one extension.still the same problem.reconnected it and then disconnected second extension and bb connected.everything running fine.wife not happy about the idea of ripping carpets up though to rewire phone cable.
You might need to consider a wireless modem/router connected to the extension that does work and then a wireless receiver on any PC that is to far away from that extension.
