I have BT Broadband which relies on a Speedtouch 330 USB modem to work. Has anyone had experience with using a Belkin ADSL2+ Modem with High-Speed Mode Wireless-G Router to connect to the internet? Any issues to be aware of? I want to create a wireless connection in my house. I've been told that I can plug the other end of the ADSL filter that plugs into my phone line directly into this modem/router. Is this the case?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

hi nmorzaria, I have recently purchased a belkin wireless router ( F5D7633x4 ). My old connection was the same as yours ( speedtouch 330 usb modem ). The belkin ADSL+2 has the modem already built in, so yes it does plug straight into your existing phone line. The only thing that I thought was a pain, was the set up manual is on a disc, so I had to keep minimizing the window while altering settings. ( Easier if you print the relevant sections off first ). My advice before starting would be to get the router connection settings from your ISP before you start. Once installed and up and running seems ok. If you do get into any trouble, they have a FREE 24 hour helpline... hope this helps. Mark.
