DECT phones and Broadband?

I seem to remember seeing several references to a potential incompatibility between DECT phones (I think Panasonic was mentioned specifically) and Broadband.
Can anyone confirm that this is the case and also explain what effect using a DECT phone will have on the Broadband connection?
