Funny you should raise that 'cos I saw the advert in Computer Active as well!! On the face of it a 1mb BB connection for £4.57 is remarkable value but there is a bit more too it than that.
First you need a satellite dish installed pointing in the correct direction. You can't use your existing Sky dish because (a) it's not pointing in the right direction and (b) you can't receive two different signals from the same dish.
Then you need a BT line connected because BB via satellite is only one way. You need a t/p to transmit in the other direction.
However it doesn't cost that much for a dish and if you've already got a BT line all the other stuff you need is supplied free so for £4.57 I reckon it sounds good. Trouble is I don't know anyone who's tried it. Be interested to hear from anyone who's got it.
