My isp is Orange via livebox.
Recently I have encountered a problem in that, while I can access bank and savings account sites and obtain balances etc, I am unable to carry out any processing of the accounts. When I try the system locks up before eventually crashing. This happens on any high security site. Orange can offer no solution, can anyone else suggest what may have happened and how can I solve the problem.

So is it only sites whose URL starts HTTPS://? Do you get any error messages? Are you using ONSPEED?

Yes that would seem to be the case as far as I have found.
Only secure sites like Banks or building societies. THere is no error message. I can access the site and look at my accounts but I cannot alter anything like transfer money or arrange direct debits.
And it appears to be just specific to my computer since I have no problem accessing the same sites via a friends machine who uses a different ISP.
I can still buy items from shopping sites and the like.
