hi can i use a ethernet connection with my usb sagem 800 f@st modem if so how do i go about doing this do i need a special cable running from my modem to the computers ethernet socket please advise,i use tiscali and windows xp home edition thank you Damian

Hello dame I am on tiscali and they sent me the sagem 800 modem too ,but I soon found out what pile of crap they are with having to reinstall the drivers for them time after time on windows xp . Plus you try to upgrade the drivers for them that's a joke if you can get them to work. As far as I know you would be wasting your money trying to find a converter to work in the way you would want to .it would still be a usb device. A Ethernet connection is the best way to connect to adsl modem. After the trouble I had with the sagem 800 I went and bought a belkin wireless one and never looked back, the sagem 800 is now a door stopper as it's the right size and shape for that job lol.
