Ethernet Port/Netgear Router
      #379441 - Fri Jan 11 2008 03:51 PM

Due to a lightening strike in my area certain items of equipment fail to work. One was my Netgear Router so I bought a new one and that did not work in that no port lights lit up. I now find that my ethernet port is not working.

I thought I could bypass this by buying a wireless adaptor but It appears that I need the ethernet connection to be able to enable the wireless on the router (but my ethernet port does not work). It's the catch22 situation.

Can anyone suggest some ways forward?

Get yourself one of these.

Do you know that we're all in line for succession to the throne? Really?
Well, if forty-eight million, two hundred thousand, seven hundred and one people died I'd be Queen.
