I was doing a system recovery on my pc,as i had a new mother board fitted,the system recovery was corrupt,but that is not the problem,as i was doing so i noticed that my external Medion HDDrive 2 go was still plugged in, after i got my pc working again the hddrive 2 go is not now showing up in my computer,i have tryed acsessing it with the computer management,which does see it,but says that it no longer has a drive letter,and when i right click it it just gives me the option of help and nothing else, so what i want to know is how do i assign a drive letter to it so my computer see`s it or how do i go about reformatting it  ........ any help would be great thanx

Is this external drive USB? If it is, trying removing the USB cable whilst the PC and drive are switched on and then re-connect it.
