Hi all. I have just done a PC rebuild. My other computer needed a new case,so I put all the the works from one case to the new case,but when I start the PC it runs POST then shows the following message"CMOS checksum error defaults loaded" Any advise please. Regards.

That usually relates to the battery on the motherboard being dead.

Thanks RichieP That done the trick. although this M/B is fairly new,it makes you wonder what the shelf life of these batteries are. Once again many thanks.
