A problem has developed on my PC in that sound from music sites and game sites is fine but PC sounds and from sites such as Utube only my whoofer speaker works. I have Creative Soundbalster 5.1 and Cambridge SooundWorks 5 speakers + whoofer.
I have tried getting a driver update from the Creative Web site but it indicates that the driver for that sound card is no longer supported.
The driver will still work even if it's no longer supported, what is the exact make and model of your speakers, also are you using Creative Audio Control?
Finally are the speakers plugged into the correct ports?
