#241605 - Tue Nov 29 2005 04:50 AM

Every time I try to play games on Pogo or Gamesville, my AOL connection shuts. AOL Live Help gave me a list of things to do, but it didn't help. Anybody have any suggestons? *******@aol.com

Have you tried going directly to those sites I have a drop out issue sometimes if they are attached as a link to an ISP browser. (happens randomly)
Yahoo games also does it!
Most of the games also feature on other Companies Portals Yahoo and www.Excite.com also www.Lycos.com all share most of the same games.
Have you looked in MSNs site?
www.pogo.com
www.gamesville.com
Many more here....

Try http://uk.skilljam.com This is not connected to a webportal . Has a good range of games.
I think it was linked years ago to Either the Lycos or Excite Sites I though it had gone out of business a year or 2 ago ? Only rediscovered it when clicking on a link on a lottery site.

Also try the following click start>control panel>add/remove software>AOL connectivity.
You will be given the option to 'repair' the AOL connectivity software. Happens to me all the time. I'm moving away from AOL as a result.
Hope this helps.

Bit of News the Skilljam Site now links to AOL and has a very good Poker area(added recently ) Play for free or cash. KW "Poker" Note it links to the US Server not the UK Server.
