A better ISP?
      #177408 - Sun Apr 10 2005 08:54 PM

Looking down the page and a half of posts, it occured to me that my ISP isn't mentioned once - no problems at all - not a sausage :) as the Dison ad would say!

So if anybody is as sick of AOL as I was (or any other ISP for that matter) I can heartily recommend PlusNet - far faster than AOL ever was and far cheaper too :)

There is a link on my web site www.stewarta13wsb.plus.com (and I'll be up front and admit if you join via that I get 25p)

Good luck, and can I just honestly say - I don't work for them or have any relationship with any of their staff. I've referred them to a couple of friends and they are happy too, and my daughter joins them this week.

If you don't want to go through my site, just try www.plus.net and move to happy broadband or dial-up :)
Stewart

By the looks of your tables we've both picked a winner then :) Where did the data come from though?

I tried to sign up with Plusnet around 2 years ago. They said not possible on your BT line. They took my money as with all ISPs up front then I had a struggle with them to even get an answer from them to say yes or no to me. Then I even had a fight with them to refund my money which they took out of my account twice over £140...............They may have changed these days but I wouldn't give them a second chance............
