My mum is trying to switch provider from the truly dreadful Supanet to Pipex but is having difficulty obtaining a MAC code form Supanet.
Despite getting one from them Pipex where informed that BT had cancelled the MAC code and arent able to tell why.
Supanet are awful to try and get hold of and despite telephone and email attempts she is still waiting for a new MAC code.
I notice they arent signed up to the Ofcom code of practice (on current experience no surprise!) but wondered if anyone had any ideas or tips on how to get this sorted. Or is my poor old mum consigned to trying to get a response from Supanet?
I can't help with your problem but I am glad to have read your post to have confirmed what I thought... that Supanet (supanames) are dreadful.
I emailed them with a couple of enquiry questions which I thought would be quite easy but they have totally failed to respond. I decided to contact them again to tell them I thought they must be useless so they wouldn't be getting my custom after all.
I've since met a lady who has been trying to get her domain name transfered to another agent and they are not responding to her.
