I upgraded from BT dialup to BTyahoo about 10 months ago today received email informing me that they had been charging me at dialup rate and not Broadband rate and would correct error with next bill, they did say that I would not be back charged, (thats about £100) it looked like a standard letter so wonder how many others were charged incorrectly, when I first changed to broadband I did try by email to tell them they were charging me too little but it fell on deaf ears.

I wouldn't worry about it. At least you're profitting by their mistake and they're not trying to charge you for it. It's their fault and they must bear the cost.
